Commander's Corner - April 2024
Greeting from your Commander,
First, I would like to say that I apologize for not sending an update for the March newsletter. Now we have to tighten our belts and work together for a busy April.
I would like to thank all the volunteers for your help with the County Dinner, Valentine’s Dinner Dance and Birthday Dinner. Thank you all for what you did to make our post proud. Congratulations to Mike Wheeler, Male Legionnaire of the Year and Danielle Breault, Female Legionnaire of the Year and everyone that received certificates. You are all appreciated.
March was a busy month for all of us. We donated $500 to Falls Farm and Garden to benefit the new Toy Building at Washington County fairgrounds. We donated $150 to Calamity Jane’s for the Hudson Falls Shooting Club. We received a plaque from ARCC for our participation at the Chamber of Commerce. The Chamber will be helping us in the future with several projects. Dana Warren and I visited 98.5 WCKM on March 20th. The interview was on what the American Legion Family is all about and our upcoming events.

April is nomination month. Please contact Joe Bernard or Larry Pratt if you have nominations for officers. We will be voting in May and installations are in June. I would like to let everyone know that I am running for Commander again this year.
Please continue to volunteer. Member involvement is so important to make all of our events successful.
Respectfully,
